Elizabeth Lake Lodge is located on the southwest end of Cranbrook, adjacent to Confederation Park. We’re the only accommodation in Cranbrook with trails leading directly to Elizabeth Lake Bird Sanctuary and nearby forest areas.

In & Around Cranbrook

Car:

  • Your own vehicle is a great way to move around town and explore the local area. Car rental companies are available in town and at the airport. Taxis service the Cranbrook area (see above).

Bus:

  • BC Transit operates a bus service that goes around the downtown area.

Bicycle:

  • Biking is a great way to get around town and explore the area. There’s a well-maintained 26km paved trail from Cranbrook to Kimberley along the Rails to Trails network, offering a scenic and easy way to explore the areas outside the downtown core.

  • The Chief Isadore Trail, is a 43.5km packed gravel trail that runs from Cranbrook to Wardner; it is half rail trail and half gravel enhanced single track.
